Don't listen to the reviews of customers who hate this product because it's not the original metal stands. These are better!! They are not made of cheap plastic! The plastic is very heavy duty! They are stable and strong even before bolting the handles to the base (and they are bolted metal to metal). The handles are big and thick (bigger than the metal ones!) which allow you to build a strong grip. The edges are rounded instead of thin and dangerous in case of dropping on you or someone else (like the metal ones!). The base is large and makes it impossible to tip over like other stands on the market and has a rubber nonslip sole on each base unlike the metal ones! The handles are a little bit shorter than the metal ones, but you wont/don't need the little bit of extra height. They are ergonomically designed to make the push-ups easier on the wrist and hit the muscle groups in such a way to get the best out of each push-up. Don't listen to those unappreciative reviews. Do yourself a favor and get a pair. These are the best push-up bars ever put on the market.
